Mardi Gras partying continues despite Bourbon Street shooting in New Orleans (Video)

Four people were shot on Bourbon Street in New Orleans while celebrating Mardi Gras. According to a Feb. 11Yahoo! News report, the shooting happened on Saturday night during a revelry.

Police have been studying a video that shows an argument between one of the shooting victims and a suspect. Three men are being sought and police say they have identified one of the suspects.

Four people were hit with shots, including the man seen arguing with a suspect in the video. Two men and two women were shot. One man was hit in the abdomen, thigh and pelvis and is in stable condition.

The other three victims were treated and released. One woman was shot in the toe and the other on her chin and foot. A man was shot in the buttocks.

Revelers continued their celebration despite the violence. However, a few said while they weren’t going to let the shooting ruin their Mardi Gras celebration, they were going to steer clear of Bourbon Street.

New Orleans has had a high crime rate for years. Would you feel save celebrating in the streets after a shooting?
