Mardi Gras celebrations at Showboat Atlantic City, where Bourbon Street meets the Boardwalk, kick off Friday, Feb. 17 and rock on to Fat Tuesday.

For the main event, House of Blues Casino Party Pit hosts the 4th Annual Fat Tuesday King Cake Eating World Championship. This public event will be on Feb. 21 at 3p.m. and features 12 of the world’s best competitive eaters. The winner gets a $4,000 cash prize. If you're coming for the music, it's free in the lobby during Mardi Gras. Enjoy the Crawdaddy Band, the East Coast's premiere Louisiana Canjun, Zydeco and Blues band, as well as the Cajun Brothers, known for their unique brand of bayou blues/rock.

Get your Total Rewards card and begin swiping it at the promo kiosks beginning Saturday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. Ten winners will be chosen every hour. There's a Fat Tuesday sweepstakes, too, Feb. 21.
