Mardi Gras 2013 Krewe of Argus Parade

In Metairie, Louisiana the Krewe of Argus Parade rolled through the city on February 12 Th. It was a cloudy and rainy day, but that still did not stop party goers from having an exciting time singing, dancing, eating shouting Hey Mister, throw me something. The floats were huge and beautiful while the people were friendly and welcoming. Enjoying King Cake was some extra fun, especially for kids. This was a huge parade with marching bands, big truck floats, and dance teams.

Beautiful beads that were green, gold, purple, black, pink, and many other colors were thrown by the handfuls. If you have never been to Louisiana, then you should definitely visit during the Mardi Gras season. Mardi Gras in Louisiana is unique to all other regions of the world and people come from near and far to experience the excitement.
