The official Live at Peck Pavilion outdoor concert series line-up was set to close with Red Baraat, but yesterday, Aug. 27, The Marcus Center (http://MarcusCenter.org) issued a press release announcing one additional performance to end the series. In light of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebrations in the Milwaukee area (http://110.harley-davidson.com/en_US/events/milwaukee2013), The Marcus Center is closing the series with a special free concert featuring The Miller Rhythm & Brews Revue and Crossfire Country on Sunday, Sept. 1. The concert runs from 4-8 p.m. in the Peck Pavilion and the Marcus Center encourages bikers celebrating the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary to attend.
The Miller Rhythm & Brews Revue is a Milwaukee-based band who covers popular songs from the last five decades. The band is comprised of MillerCoors employees who spend their days brewing, packaging, and selling beer, and their nights acting as rock stars for local festivals. They have performed venues from Milwaukee's Summerfest to Las Vegas parties and have entertained tens of thousands of people since 2004.
Country rock band Crossfire is another group consisting entirely of Milwaukee natives. While Crossfire has been performing for years, they have made some recent changes and offer a variety of music and styles resulting from experienced musicians and new local talent. The band has four lead vocalists and are known for powerful harmonies and high energy musical style.
Along with these two local bands, MillerCoors products and food will also be available for purchase on the grounds through Sazama's Fine Catering.
