Marcos Ambrose doesn't regret punching Casey Mears

Marcos Ambrose is not sorry at all for punching Casey Mears. Nascar fans would assume that he would think about it and regret his decision, but that isn't the case at all. On Thursday, Fox Sports shared about how he is still fine with his decision to punch Mears. Nascar fans have been shocked to watch this all go down on television.

The strange thing is even though he doesn't regret it Marcos says that things are good between the two of them. They might want to even have a beer together sometime. He doesn't feel bad about the punch though. He said, "To be honest with you, once he put his hand on me and started pushing me around, I was just trying to stand up for myself and my country and my family and my reputation, and I threw a punch down on him to get him out of the way and let him know that I didn't respect him not giving me my private space."

Ambrose got a fine of $25,000 and Mears got a fine of $15,000 for the fight. Ambrose does admit that he probably should have walked away sooner, but that seems to be his only regret about the altercation. He doesn't even have a problem with paying his fine. Hopefully these two can continue to get along and things are better between them in the future.
