There is a new addition to the cast of one of the most anticipated movies, Fifty Shades of Grey.

Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden joins the film as Christian Grey’s (Jamie Dornan) adoptive mother, Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey.

Harden recently wrapped up shooting Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight, and appears in HBO’s The Newsroom and ABC’s Trophy Wife.

Universal made the announcement Tuesday, with several media outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly confirming the news.

The announcement came a day after it was confirmed that British singer Rita Ora is to play Mia Grey, Christian Grey’s adoptive sister. Rounding up the Grey family is Luke Grimes who will portray Elliot Grey, Christian and Mia’s brother.

Pictures of Dornan and Dakota Johnson filming scenes in character as Grey and Anastasia Steele surfaced on Sunday, Dec.1, prompting the start of production.

Fifty Shades of Grey follows the racy relationship between college student (Johnson) and mysterious 27-year-old billionaire Grey (Dornan).

The film also stars Eloise Mumford, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle, and Max Martini.

The flick is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, and is being produced by Universal Pictures and Focus.

Fifty Shades of Grey opens everywhere February 13, 2015.
