There was a lot of speculation over what will be featured in the newly announced From the Vault: Realms. Would there be new alternate art dual lands, or would the new artworks be featured in Magic Online Cube?

Two new DCI Judge foils were revealed at Pro Tour Barcelona: Command Tower and Sneak Attack. Both cards have already become well sought after on the secondary market.

IDW Publishing confirmed that Dack Fayden would return in a second Magic: the Gathering miniseries. According to a recent report, the new Magic comic has topped IDW Publishing's sales charts. Magic: the Gathering: The Spell Thief will debut this June.

The March 20th DCI banned and restricted list changes led Intangible Virtue and Lingering Souls to be banned from Innistrad Block Constructed.

Deck lists for Duel Decks: Venser vs. Koth were revealed: Evade and Shimmer and Errupt and Overwhelm. Included in the new Duel Decks were several new alternate alternate art Magic: the Gathering cards, most notably Path to Exile. Will Path to Exile return to standard in Magic 2013?

Perhaps the most important highlight of the month was a new teaser trailer for Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert Magic: the Gathering set Avacyn Restored. Avacyn Restored previews will begin at PAX East.

With Avacyn Restored spoilers starting next week, April is sure to be an even more eventful month than March was.
