March Madness Live app goes live (Photos)

College basketball fans have a lot of options available to them when it comes to where they can watch all the action taking place in March Madness.

One of my favorites each year is the March Madness Live app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and it will be available for Android devices this weekend.

For those of you that haven't experienced this app, NCAA March Madness Live is a complete digital suite of products designed to give basketball fans the NCAA basketball experience across a variety of platforms for the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.

The free streaming of games and more is offered to pay TV subscribers throughout the run of the tournament featuring social and interactive components designed to provide portable access to the tournament whenever and wherever fans choose to watch.

Here's how you can get NCAA March Madness Live:

1. Go to www.ncaa.com/marchmadness or download the app from the App Store or Google Play
2. Click on the “Select Your TV Provider” tab
3. Select your TV provider
4. Enter your username and password that corresponds with the account
5. Enjoy the action

If you've used the March Madness Live app in past years, you'll notice some changes this year.

They include:

A new look on all platforms.

Keep track of your entry in the Capital One NCAA March Madness Bracket Challenge right on your mobile device.

With the Coke Zero NCAA March Madness Social Arena you can chat with friend and other basketball fans and share opinions on social media.

NCAA March Madness Live will once again provide let fans view video highlights, full game replays and get real-time game alerts. Fans can also follow live game scoring, real-time tournament brackets, personal channel lineup features, stats, and use the "Boss" button on Broadband.

Fans also will have access to live radio broadcasts, courtesy of Westwood One/Dial Global Radio Network. That will be for all 67 games played.

This is one basketball app, that you MUST download.
