MSU may be a big favorite vs. Valpo, but don't look for a total runaway in this game.
Valparaiso's 6-foot-7 senior Ryan Broekhoff will do his best to try be part of a history making upset this afternoon.
The native Australian, known as "Rowdy" has the respect of his teammates and fellow players. He may be quiet off the court, but on the court he can hang with best of them.
"We used to call him 'Rowdy,'" said Saint Mary's forward Mitchell Young, who played with Broekhoff at the prestigious Australian Institute of Sport. "He was really quiet and just kind of kept to himself, but he didn't play like that. It was just off the court."
The Spartans know that if they want to advance to the next round, they need to keep Ryan Broekhoff in check.
If you can't make it to the round one tournament games first hand, and the boss wouldn't give you the day off, have no fear!
