The March Madness of the 2013 NCAA Tournament has begun, and for the most part the teams who were expected to win did so, but not without some scary moments.
No. 1 Gonzaga barely got the sixteenth seeded Southern U. Jaguars 64-58 in a game that was anything but the runaway that many fans thought it would be. Most of the top seeds pulled out the victories on day one of play.
So far the only real upsets and possible early bracket busters were No. 5 UNLV as they lost to No. 12 California 64-61, and the kids from Harvard shocked No. 3 New Mexico 68-62 for their first ever NCAA Tournament win.
The non-stop action continues today and right through the weekend.
