March Gameness: A month dedicated to bizarre, over-the-top games

I was looking at my pile of games to review and they all seem to file under the bizarre, over-the-top category. I'm not quite sure what March Madness is, but it probably has something to do with basketball players being angry over money. Or drafts. Yeah, probably drafts. Whatever the case may be, these two things inspired me to dedicate March to exploring some crazy, sexy, cool games. I simply dub it, March Gameness. Not a word true, but neither was basketball at first.

Anyway, as if the premise wasn’t clear enough, I will be looking at some of the most bizarre games of recent and some classics as well. There will, of course, be a big emphasis on Bizarre Bits. These games may not appeal to everyone, but I think the Anime/Nicolas Cage crowd will enjoy this month. If you have any ideas of stuff you’d like to see, let me know. For now though, here’s a list of the stuff I plan on looking at. Whether this is a big flop or not, it’ll be a grand, bizarre adventure down a mad, mad hole. So what better way to kick off this feature then by looking at a weird, indie RPG starring Charles Barkley?

Games to cover:

Asura’s Wrath

Metal Gear Rising-Revengeance

Dynasty Warriors

Dead or Alive Xtreme 2

DmC-Devil May Cry

Tokyo Jungle
