March fun at Stir Cooking School: Mussels and Clams Oh My! and Asian Noodles

Whether learning how to create five fabulous mussel and clam dishes, or learning how to make delicious Asian noodles, Stir Cooking School ( provides participants with unique and memorable experiences. With plentiful class offerings during the month of March, cooks can enjoy numerous options, from a class dedicated to mussel and clam dishes to recreating often difficult Asian noodle recipes with “Mussels and Clams OH MY!” and “Asian Noodle Workshop.”

Guided by Stir’s professional chefs, participants will learn how to create a variety of tasty mussel and clams dishes, during “Mussels and Clams OH MY!” on March 11th at 6:30 p.m. The menu consists of Linguine with Grilled Clams and Bacon; Clams Steamed with Fennel, Herbs and Spicy Italian Sausage; Thai Coconut Curry Steamed Mussels; Beer Battered Friend Mussels with Homemade Tartar Sauce; Mussels with Herbed Bread Crumbs; and Grilled Bread for Soaking. Pricing is $75 per person.

Later in the month, cooks can learn all about Asian Noodle Dishes on March 18th at 6:30 p.m. The menu consists of Phad Thai; Cool Sesame Soba Noodles with Shrimp; Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein; Vietnamese “Pho”; and Singapore Chicken Curry Noodles. Pricing is $69 per person.

Owned by Denver native, Chef Katy Hume, Stir first opened for business in November 2010. Stir offers a variety of cooking classes for all ages and skill levels including: baking, date night, holiday cooking, vegetarian, wine pairing, farmers market, kids cooking, mixology, International cooking and family friendly, among others.
