Marché Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop to host Bastille Day celebration

For those Vegas foodies planning on celebrating Bastille Day, why not celebrate the occasion at one of the best French restaurants in town: Marché Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop?

The charming French bistro located in the Desert Shores community of Summerlin will be hosting a special event on July 14 in honor of the French national holiday, which commemorates the beginning of the French Revolution. Beginning at 5 p.m., guests can feast on a festive à la carte menu created by the restaurant’s award-winning culinary team while being serenaded by singing sensation Nieve Malandra. Then at 7 p.m., Vegas Extreme Skydiving will dive over the lake surrounding the restaurant’s scenic patio accompanied by a team of Navy Seals. Following their triumphant landing, Marché Bacchus owner Jeff Wyatt will saber champagne bottles on the terrace as a celebratory red, white and blue balloon releases into the summer sky.

Marché Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop’s Bastille Day menu will feature both traditional and inspired French dishes by Executive Chef Dave Middleton. Highlights include Oysters Rockefeller, Beef Bourguignon, Sole Almandine, Chicken Fricassee, Duck Confit Lyonnaise Salad, Torchon of Foie Gras, State Tartare and the very potent and delicious Australian Winter Truffles. Located at 2620 Regatta Drive, Marché Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop offers traditional and contemporary French bistro cuisine for both lunch and dinner. With its patio that overlooks the picturesque Lake Jacqueline and its adjoining retail wine store that features more than 950 labels (guests can enjoy a bottle with their meal for only $10 over the retail price), it’s no wonder stars like Andre Agassi and John O’Hurley have made the trip out to the restaurant. Marché Bacchus is open Mon.-Sat. for lunch and dinner and Sun. for brunch and dinner. Lunch is served Mon.-Sat. from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and dinner is served Sun.-Thurs. from 5:30-9:30 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. from 5:30-10 p.m.; brunch is served Sun. from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. An early dinner is also available from 4-5:30 p.m. daily.
