March 2013 TIEGs meeting

The March meeting of The Inland Empire Gardeners will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. After refreshments and a short business meeting, Paul Bannick will present “Owls and Woodpeckers of North America”.

Mr. Bannick is an award winning wildlife photographer, with a special emphasis on North American birds and their habitat. His presentation also uses audio to enrich the experience, and has an engaging and entertaining speaking style. This talk shows the interconnectedness of owls and woodpeckers and their habitats, and creates an immersion experience of the forest, grassland, arctic and deserts that these birds live in.

The meeting takes place at CenterPlace, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley, 99206. It is free and all are welcomed.
