The theme for the March 2013 Photo Friday event at the Center for Creative Photography is faith. The event provides visitors with an unique opportunity to see pieces in the museum's collection more up close. The free event is from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, in the Volkerding Print Viewing Room.
Works on display for the March 2013 Photo Friday will feature different aspects of the theme faith including people, objects, rituals, and places of worship. The works featured will includes ones by Graciela Iturbide, Aaron Siskind, Nubar Alexanian, Kozo Miyoshi, Henri Cartier- Bresson, Felix Bonfils, Mark Klett, Yoshiyasu Suzuka, and Gail Skoff.
About the Center of Creative Photography: The Center of Creative Photography is located on the U of A Campus just south of Speedway near the pedestrian underpass that is just East of Park Ave. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
