On March 2, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad helps the Duke City Darlings host the annual Sinful Solstice, which benefits the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico. Musical entertainment consists of performances by Ruffhouse, Requiem Mass, and 10 Ton Hit. Burlesque will be performed by Dirty Deeds Burlesque and Miss Mercy.
Doors for this 21+ show are scheduled to open at 8 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 9 p.m. Entry is only $5 but is subject to change at the door.
Albuquerque’s Ruffhouse are a hip-hop collective who play a combination of hip-hop and rock. The band is always working on new material.

Albuquerque’s 10 Ton Hit describe their approach to metal with one word: “heavy.” As for their influences, they have but one: “lots of smoke.”
Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
