From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph, comes the chilly yet heartwarming and humorous computer-animated comedy-adventure film Frozen. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee -- the first female director in Disney Animation feature history, the family friendly film is the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, it features a delightful voice cast that includes: Kristen Bell as Anna; Idina Menzel as her older sister Elsa; Jonathan Groff as mountain man Kristoff; Josh Gad as the lovable snowman Olaf; Santino Fontana as Hans; Alan Tudyk as the Duke of Weselton; Ciarán Hinds as Pabbie; and Chris Williams as Oaken. Frozen won the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Additionally, the song “Let It Go” won an Oscar for Best Original Song and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.

Set in the kingdom of Arendelle, Queen Elsa possesses the power to create ice and snow, however she has yet to learn how to control it. When she inadvertently traps the kingdom in eternal winter after a fight with her younger sister Anna, she panics and flees the palace. Now it is up to Anna, the fearless optimist, to set off on an epic journey to find her sister, reconcile, bring her home and break the spell to end winter in Arendelle. Teaming up with a rugged mountain man named Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, they encounter Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and Olaf -- Elsa and Anna’s hilarious childhood snowman brought to life by Elsa. Bravely battling the frigid elements, they race to save the kingdom before it is frozen forever.

The DVD and Blu-ray features a blizzard of never-before-seen bonus extras. Both the DVD and Blu-ray include the original theatrical short “Get A Horse,” and the music video “Let It Go” sung in English by Demi Lovato, Spanish and Italian by Martina Stoessel and Malaysian by Marsha Milan. Exclusive to Blu-ray are deleted scenes and a making-of featurette, plus "Breaking the Ice - The Real Making of Frozen" and “D’frosted: Disney’s Journey From Hans Christian Andersen to Frozen” featurettes.

Note, at the current time, Disney will not be offering Frozen in Blu-ray 3D in North America (U.S. and Canada); it will be available outside of North American such as Mexico, Europe and Asia. Although there are importing options, be aware that some may require a region-free player; please contact the specific retailer for more details. U.S. Blu-ray 3D players only play Region A or region-free discs.
