One of the greatest actors, Dustin Hoffman is being honored on March 16 on TCM with 5 of his movies airing. The marathon of his movies will be starting at 7 pm, so spend Saturday night watching these 5 great movies. Please note too that all schedule times are in central time!
"Tootise"
Time: 7 pm
"Tootise," is a very funny Dustin Hoffman movie and it's about an unemployed actor who becomes a leading lady of a Soap Opera. It's definitely a must see for those who haven't seen this classic 80s comedy!
Little Big Man
Time: 9 pm
"Little Big Man," is an impressive western about a man named Jack Crabb who was around America's most pivotal moments like the Battle of Big Horn. The movie opens with Crabb at age 121 being interviewed by a historian.
John & Mary
Time: 11:30 pm
"John and Mary," is a Peter Yates film about about two singles who meet at bar, sleep together and then the next day they decide to know more about each other.
The Graduate
Time: 1:15 am
"The Graduate," is a definitely classic that starred both Hoffman and the wonderful Anne Bancroft. Mike Nichols directed "The Graduate" which is about an interesting love triangle with an older woman who loves a younger man and the younger man is in love with her daughter.
Kramer vs. Kramer
Time: 3:15 am
"Kramer vs. Kramer," is another Hoffman classic that also starred Meryl Streep. The movie is about a man who is the sole caregiver of his son after his wife leaves him but then she comes back and that leads to a custody battle. "Kramer vs. Kramer," is a raw look at divorce and family!
