March 12: Iron Chic and guests inhale The Gasworks

On March 12, Albuquerque’s The Gasworks punks out with Iron Chic, Low Culture, Stabbed in Back, and The Ill Motion. This all-ages event starts at 7 p.m. Entry is $8.

Las Cruces’ Low Culture play what they call “garage punk.” The band’s latest EP is titled Screens.

Formed in 2004, Albuquerque’s Stabbed in Back play a face-slapping combination of punk rock and hardcore. The band has a CD out titled Portrait of Noise.

Albuquerque’s The Ill Motion play punk rock. The band has the following to say: “We don’t have much of a story, we wrote songs then we started playing shows. Now we still write songs and still play shows.” The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Forever Stoked.
