March 1: Albuquerque’s Gasworks presents Creations, Nothing til Blood, and more

On March 1, Albuquerque’s The Gasworks, in conjunction with Joe Angel Productions, presents Creation, Nothing til Blood, Kublai Khan, From Sacrifice to Survival, Loathe, and Divide the Foundation. Doors for this all-ages event open at 6:30 p.m., with the show kicking off at 7 p.m. Entry is only $10.

Around since 2009, Australia’s Creations play what they like to call “heavy, fast, dark metal.” The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Gospel.

Alabama’s Nothing til Blood play spirit-filled hardcore. The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled When Lambs Become Lions.

Texas’ Kublai Khan play what they like to call North Texas metalcore. The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Youth War.

Formed in late 2008, Albuquerque’s From Sacrifice to Survival play technical hardcore. The band has completed recording an EP titled I Plead the Blood.

Albuquerque’s Loathe play an aggressive combination of hardcore and metal. They count as influences Pantera and Slayer.

Albuquerque’s Divide the Foundation play what they call “Double Pedal Burque Metal.”

The Gasworks is located at 2429 Quincy St NE. A 2,000-square-foot warehouse, The Gasworks is an all-ages venue. The venue’s goal is to keep the underground scene alive. If you are interested in booking at The Gasworks, please email Jake at gasworksnm@gmail.com.
