Devolver Digital, the independent video game publisher behind titles the likes of “Hotline Miami” and “Shadow Warrior,” released the Xbox and PlayStation 2 cult favorite, “Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure” on Steam today for just $7.49, according to a press release obtained by Examiner.

Originally released on the PS2 and Xbox, as well as PC in 2006, the game follows an up and coming graffiti artist in a beat-em-up adventure. Using elements of “Jet Set Radio” and various platformers in addition to fighting gameplay elements, it was a nifty fighting hybrid when it was originally released. Almost a decade later, Devolver’s release brings the title to an entire new demographic of gamers.

"As we plan the next evolution of our beloved franchise, we are excited to re-release the original Getting Up to a new audience via Steam in partnership with Devolver Digital,”said Marc Ecko in today’s press release. “Devolver Digital has released every cutting edge game I have played in the last year, and I could not think of a better partner.”
