Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 at New York Fashion Week a big, bold adventure (Photos)

Marc by Marc Jacobs fall 2013 is not for the faint of the heart or meek of the spirit. Here every thing is enthusiastic and lively. The print are riotous, colors are gutsy, hair are big and the style is mod and trendy. Marc Jacobs creates a zealous collection that is polished yet adventurous. The colors are all out 70s with rust browns, deep teals, cayenne and orange, navy and cabernet red with occasional black to anchor it all. The Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 collection had 50 looks and even though it was all one show, you would feel as if there were two separate themes and inspirations. One where prints are over the top and lines are very soft, and another where it is all solid colors and silhouettes are stark. The printed high neck blouses and belted sheaths dominated the runway as much as the solid silk wool satin jackets and suit pants.

Marc Jacobs gives us a glimpse of a fall where staying quiet in earthy brown and somber grey is no option at all!

The full house theater in Lincoln Center was buzzing with stars, celebrities and A-list style editors with model Coco Rocha, Elle Magazine style editor Kate Lanphear and Vogue Japan's Anna Dello Ruso sitting in the front row.
