Premio Lo Nuestro in its 26 edition is the most popular Latin music award show in the U.S. which honors the very best talent in the Latin music industry since 1989. Marc Anthony has a total of 28 Premio Lo Nuestro nominations since 1994 of which he has won 19. The last time he was nominated was in 2010 but this year it goes to mention has five Premio Lo Nuestro nominations - Tropical Album of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Tropical Salsa Artist of the Year, and Tropical Song of the Year. He will also receive the honorary tribute for his extensive career and accomplishments - singer, songwriter, producer, actor, entrepreneur, humanitarian and philanthropist.

The native born New Yorkers' career goes back to the late 1980's singing in his dominating language English but it was in 1993 when Marc actually recorded his first Spanish salsa song "Hasta Que Te Conocí" taking him to his successful crossover launch with vast changes in his singing career and life. Last year he recorded his long-awaited solo album "Marc Anthony 3.0" with its first release single "Vivir Mi Vida" hitting top music charts including Billboard Music Charts and radio charts. His latest release a few weeks ago "A Cambio de Piel" has been just as successful.

Thus far Marc has 13 recorded albums, sold over 12 million albums worldwide, acted in 10 movies, starred in the TV series "Hawthorne", a guest mentor in X Factor, and produced the Latin talent competition "Q'Viva! The Chosen".

As if his singing isn't enough, Marc has his own clothesline at Kohl's and is part owner of the NFL Miami Dolphin's but what truly gives him the most sense of worth when not on stage performing is his giving heart and dedication to his Maestro Cares Foundation. An organization he founded with Henry Cardena's of CMN Events that entails assisting in the development of orphanages in Puerto Rico, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic by providing food, school supplies, dorm rooms, classrooms and clinics so that children are surrounded by a healthy environment for learning and living. The first orphanage - Niños de Cristo - in La Romana, Dominican Republic is almost completed.

Through Marc's lengthy career he has received numerous awards and recognitions - two Grammy Awards, four Latin Grammy Awards his most recent in 2013, 2012 Billboard Hall of Fame award, American Music Award for Latin Artist of the Year in 2004 and 2013, 1999 and 2002 American Latino Media Arts Award, 2012 ASCAP Annual Latin Music Founder Award, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award, 13 Billboard Latin Music Awards and Doctor of the Arts honorary title from Ringling College of Arts and Design in 2013.
