Training and preparation for The Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon and Half Marathon is in full stride. Soler’s FIT/USA FIT San Antonio is a group of training partners and friends preparing together for the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Full and Half Marathon on December 7, 2014. Training with Soler's Fit does not require participation in the marathon, however, you would be ready if you change your mind! They offer running or walking programs for all skill levels. Coaches will help you achieve your personal best in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment. Even if you have never hit the pavement and run a step before. Here is a little bit about the fun and exciting Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon and Half Marathon. It takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2014. The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon are a series of marathons across the United States, Canada and Europe. As far as marathons go, this is hands down the most exciting due to the party like atmosphere. There are live bands playing throughout the race course that adds to the Rock n' Roll feel!
There is a seven hour time limit, which means you have seven hours from gun off to finish.
There is a $120 registration fee ($105 for the half marathon)
San Antonio averages 65 degrees for the high for December 7th.
It will be crowded. That means competitors and spectators lining the streets.
Always break in your new running shoes prior to the race.
Always stay hydrated, extremely hydrated.
Dress appropriately loose jogging shorts, not baggy, and comfortable top.
Always wear sunscreen (spf 50 for your face). Remember, you're going to be in the sun for a few hours at best.
