Marathon Elvis saves the life of fellow runner

Long live the King of Rock n Roll and his power to heal. After marrying his fiance at mile two of the Las Vegas Rock N Roll Marathon, Claudio Palma, a San Francisco doctor, went to Burger Bar at Mandalay Place to get some post-race lunch. Dressed as Elvis Prestley, Palma sat down to enjoy his burger when his recently wedded wife Rhanee noticed a fellow marathoner colapsed on the floor.

Rhanee said, "My husbands a doctor" to the crowd and distressed woman. ""I said it because, you know, people think the runners dressed as Elvis might be crazy," she said in the Las Vegas Review-Journal article.

An annonymous middle-aged woman fainted and hit her head.  An ER nurse, also in the restaurant, came to assist Palma when he went to administer first aid.  The woman was bleeding from her head and mouth and when Palma applied tremendous pressure, the woman did not respond to the pain.

When the women did not respond, Palma began CPR.  Upon revival, the woman was awoken to the kiss of Elvis. ""She was giving me a weird look and telling me she was okay," Palma says.

Shortly after, the paramedics arrived and took the woman to the hospital.  Palma and the woman did not exchange names and she currently remains annonymous.
