Mar vista library toddler storytime

Having a toddler or preschooler is recipe alone for a busy life and schedule. Trying to find fun (and free) things to do with them to keep them entertained, and in turn, you more relaxed, can be quite a task. A lot of activities around the city for kids are for bigger kids. It can be hard to locate a fun activity that caters to little ones. Mar Vista branch library as a solution on Wednesday mornings.

Every Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM your younger children can enjoy some fun stories in a little nook in the children's section inside the library. When you walk through the front doors, go straight back and to the right and you will see the small room with toys and benches in it.

Make sure you get a library card if you don't already have one, they have a lot of wonderful books to borrow as well as DVD's which you can borrow for two days. They have a great collection of newer movies for all ages and a lot of Disney movies in the kids section (which as you know, most of them get "vaulted" up for years).

You can find a lot of great information on the community, inside and outside the library with flyers, brochures, and various publications.

Don't miss their book sale coming up October 20th, 2012 at 10:00 AM. And remember to give back if you can. They are currently accepting up to two bags/boxes of books, CD's, or DVD's per donation.
