Mar 7 2013, What to watch: 'Community', 'Archer', 'Legit', more

For Thursday, March 7th 2013 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:

Community (NBC, 8 p.m.) – “Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations” – The study group heads to Shirley's (Yvette Nicole Brown) for a Bennett-filled thanksgiving, which is so awkward that they immediately begin plotting their escape. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) heads to his estranged father William's house (guest star James Brolin), whom he hasn't seen since he was a child.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8 p.m.) – “The Contractual Obligation Implementation" – Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons), and Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) speak to junior high girls about careers in science. Meanwhile, Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) plans a date with Lucy (Kate Micucci).

1600 Penn (NBC, 9:30 p.m.) – "Live from the Lincoln Bedroom" When Skip (Josh Gad) decides to start an official podcast of the Gilchrist White House, much to Marshall’s (Andre Holland) dismay, he makes a surprising personal discovery that may have an impact on his relationship with his father (Bill Pullman). Meanwhile, Becca (Martha MacIsaac) interferes with Emily’s (Jenna Elfman) parenting decision regarding Marigold’s (Amara Miller) academic future, which leaves them at odds with one another.

Archer (FX, 10 p.m.) – “Coyote Lovely” – Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) heads to the Mexican border to capture a notorious coyote, which is Spanish for coyote.

Legit (FX, 10:30 p.m.) – “Hoarders” – While running an errand, Jim (Jim Jefferies) discovers Janice (Mindy Sterling) has become a hoarder, forcing her husband to live outside. In a misguided intervention, Jim uncovers more family secrets.
