Best Buy is a great place to shop for DVD and Blu-ray deals. There are always many sales each week. One of the best things is Best Buy stores will price match its own online store, local competitors' prices and 19 major online competitors (Amazon.com, Apple.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Buy.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, Frys.com, hhgregg.com, HP.com, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, Newegg.com, OfficeDepot.com, OfficeMax.com, Sears.com, Staples.com, Target.com, TigerDirect.com or Walmart.com). You can get a one-time price adjustment within 15 days of purchase (reduced from 30 days previously); if you are a Reward Zone Premier Silver member, then you get 60 days until April 18, 2013 and after that it will decrease to 15 days. Also, if you purchase online and the price is cheaper at the store or at any of the 19 major online competitors, you can call 1-888-BEST-BUY and get a price adjustment.
Best Buy's return policy for DVD and Blu-ray titles is you have 15 days as long as you do not open the product (reduced from 30 days previously); if you are a Reward Zone Premier Silver member, then you get 60 days. Once the item is opened, you can only exchange it for the exact same item. If you misplace your receipt, Best Buy can look it up as long as you paid with a credit card, debit card or linked the purchase to your Reward Zone account. As of February 1, 2011, Best Buy's new return and exchange policy requires photo ID.
If you shop a lot at Best Buy, sign up for the free Reward Zone program. You earn 1 point per dollar spent and for every 250 points, you get a $5 Reward Zone certificate. It is like free money to reward you for being a loyal Best Buy customer. You also get coupons in the mail and email. Once you spend $2500 or more during the calendar year, you will be upgraded to Reward Zone Premier Silver membership status and get even more rewards.
