It has been a long five-year journey for Twihards as they laughed, cried and fell in love with Edward, Bella and Jacob in The Twilight Saga film franchise. Now the epic story of romance, family and friendship comes to a close in the final chapter, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Based on the second half of the novel Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer, the fifth and final installment of the series is directed by Bill Condon of Breaking Dawn - Part 1. The three main cast members, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, reprise their roles, with young Mackenzie Foy joining the cast as Edward and Bella’s dhampir daughter Renesmee. The supporting cast includes Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Billy Burke, Chaske Spencer, Maggie Grace, Jamie Campbell Bower, Christopher Heyerdahl, Michael Sheen, Lateef Crowder, Daniel Cudmore, Charlie Bewley and Dakota Fanning.

In the astonishing conclusion to the series, Bella nearly dies from giving birth to Renesmee, a half-human half-vampire child. To save Bella, Edward has no choice but to turn his wife into a vampire. As Bella adjusts to her new life and new abilities, her father Charlie grows increasingly concerned about his daughter. To protect their identities, the Cullens make preparations to leave Forks, Washington and intend to inform Charlie that Bella did not survive. Despaired that he will lose his soul mate, Renesmee, Jacob tells Charlie the truth so they will not have to leave.

Meanwhile, greater danger awaits the Cullens when vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an “immortal child,” a youngster who has been turned into a vampire. Immortal children are outlawed by the Volturi, and punishable by death, because they are dangerous, uncontrollable and can potentially expose the vampires’ secret existence to humans. Led by Aro, the Volturi make plans to destroy both Renesmee and the Cullens. Warned by Alice’s vision that the Volturi are coming, the Cullens are desperate to save the family and reach out to other vampire clans around the world to stand as witnesses to prove that Renesmee is not an “immortal child.” In the final showdown, the Cullens and their allies prepare to fight against the Volturi as Bella discovers she has a new special ability that can protect them in battle and perhaps save her family.

DVD and Blu-ray special features include hours of bonus materials that are sure to satisfy even the most dedicated Twihards. A seven-part making-of documentary will provide an incredibly detailed behind-the-scenes look at how the finale of this epic series came together, including Bella’s transformation, a global cast of vampires and the shocking climactic battle scene. The significant challenges of shooting Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2 back to back are exposed in the feature, “Two Movies at Once.” Viewers will also be able to gain new insight into the making of the film with an audio commentary by director Bill Condon. “Jump to” features allow fans to watch only their favorite scenes in the film featuring Edward Cullen and Jacob Black.

Releasing on the same day is The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 Extended Edition on DVD and Blu-ray with 8 minutes of deleted and extended scenes put back into the film.
