From James Cameron and Andrew Adamson, the visionary filmmakers behind Avatar and Shrek, comes the spectacular and mesmerizing film Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away. It stars Erica Linz and Igor Zaripov as the main characters Mia and the Aerialist respectively and incorporates acts from the seven Cirque du Soleil shows running in Las Vegas in 2011: O, Mystère, KÀ, The Beatles LOVE, Zumanity, Viva Elvis and CRISS ANGEL Believe.
Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away takes the audience on a wondrous journey across the imaginative landscapes of Cirque du Soleil when a young woman named Mia goes to a traveling carnival one evening and tries to save the falling Aerialist, the show’s star attraction. Together, they descend into the ethereal magic of Cirque du Soleil and get separated, each traveling through different wondrous worlds trying to find each other, the one destined to love. As they explore the enchanted landscapes filled with dazzling sets and costumes, the feats of the extraordinary artists are captured up close to give the audience a ringside seat to the fantastical world of the most glamorous circus troupe -- from synchronized water ballet to martial arts-inspired combat, aerial silk acrobatics, contortionism, and the frightening Wheel of Death. Eventually, Mia and the Aerialist reunite for an inspiring aerial courtship like no other beyond imagination.
