Maple Bacon Chex Mix

Chex Mix is a favorite appetizer, year-round. Whether it's for the holidays, for Game Day, for a summer BBQ or a game night, Chex Mix is sure to please all of your friends and family. We've improved the standard Chex Mix recipe by adding bacon and Maple syrup. Delicious!

6 cups Corn Chex® cereal
1 cup mini twist pretzels (you can break then up with you want)
1 cup popped popcorn
1 cup chow mein noodles
1 cup chopped bacon, cooked
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup bacon grease
3 Tablespoons maple syrup
1.5 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 250 °F.

2. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal, pretzels, popcorn, and noodles; set aside. In small bowl, stir together warm bacon grease, melted butter, brown sugar, and seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.

3. Pour mix into a large roasting pan or on several baking sheets. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
