Many stars showed up to pay their respects at the DJ AM memorial

After yesterday's funeral for Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein (36) a private memorial was held on Thursday, September 3rd at the Palladium in Hollywood, California.

There was an impressive turn out of around 2,000 mourners that showed up to the memorial.

Many stars showed up to pay their respects. Nicole Richie, Robert Downey Jr., John Mayer, Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Mark McGrath, Scott Caan, Tom Arnold, Dr. Drew, Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart were all spotted entering the venue.

According to People, model Haley Wood, whom Goldstein had recently been dating, spoke during the service, saying "He was my soulmate and now he is my soul. He is my amazing grace."

Nicole Richie (27) dated DJ AM for several years beginning in 2004. Richie gave DJ AM's parents a hug before sitting down in the front row. She cried during the entire service, which began at 7:30 p.m. PST and lasted more than two hours, an eyewitness tells Usmagazine.com.
