Manulife Financial LPGA Classic rolls out Family Pack offer (Photos)

The Manulife Financial LPGA Classic has launched a special Family Pack ticket offer for the event’s second edition in July to mark Family Day on Feb. 18.

The Family Pack includes two tickets for any one-day of the tournament from Wednesday to Sunday, two junior tickets, two cinch-bags, four vouchers for bottles of water, four vouchers for hotdogs and parking for one day at a 25% savings of $90. The offer ends on Feb. 18.

A world-class field of 144 golfers will be returning in 2013 to Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo from July 10-14.

Canadians Lorie Kane and Alena Sharp along with Americans Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer and Stacey Lewis, Spain’s Azahara Munoz and Ai Miyazato of Japan are in the field.

Texas native Brittany Lang won the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic in 2012 after she birdied the par‐five 18th hole three straight times in an exciting four-person playoff to become a Rolex First‐Time Winner and earn the $195,000 first‐place check.

As a result of its success, the tournament donated $250,000 to the St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation to enhance their volunteer program, support their Cardiac Care Centre and help raise awareness about the importance of women's heart health.

The Manulife Financial LPGA Classic is one of the two Canadian stops on the LPGA Tour. It features 72 holes of stroke play and a purse of $1.3 million.
