Manor at Midnight: Oscar Classics

The Manor Theater located in Squirrel Hill, of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania had its 3rd Oscar Special Showing on Saturday January 12, at midnight. The film, The Silence of the Lambs, which was also filmed a lot in Pittsburgh is part of a 2 month stretch of showings that will occur now until about the end of February. Most theaters in the Pittsburgh area usually do something like this every so often to celebrate films that made it big when first appearing in theaters as far back as the 40's. The Manor Theater in Squirrel Hill which has been open for business for the past 90 years, was recently renovated and made more modern for todays society. Including 4 theaters, the small location also offers a small drinking bar, as well as parking next to the Carnegie Library.

The following films will be showing at the Manor Theater every Saturday at midnight continuing on January 19: One flew over the Cuckoo's nest, A Clockwork Orange, The Graduate, Pulp Fiction, Dr. Strangelove and Chinatown.
