Pacquiao files lawsuit against Mayweather for defamation. Manny Pacquiao’s attorney filed the paperwork Wednesday in a Las Vegas court against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Mayweather, Sr. for defamation of character. The suit also names Mayweather promoters, Oscar De La Hoya and Richard Schaefer as defendants in the case.
According to the paperwork, Pacquiao claims that Mayweather stated Pac used performance-enhancing drugs and that these claims are an attempt to destroy his reputation. Pac is asking for damages over $75,000 and punitive damages, according to the LA Times.
"I can't explain why these people are making these recklessly false statements," said Pacquiao's attorney.
Promoters for both Pac and Mayweather say this suit has nothing to do with the March 13, 2010 possible fight and that talks are continuing, and they hope to have a decision in the next few days.
Mayweather has demanded Olympic style drug testing for the March 13, 2010 fight instead of the Nevada State commission that is normally used.

this is not genius. this is psychotic. by the time mayweather voiced these demands, he already lost. he is scared as hell right now. he should either retire to keep his fake perfect record or fight someone he can easily beat and intimidate!
