With the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley just a signature away, Pacquiao has publicly commented on his June 9th opponent. The fighting congressman echoed what many critics have stated about Bradley in that he's a dirty fighter who head butts a lot. According to a Wednesday February 8th report by PhilStar.com, Manny Pacquiao made the following comments about Bradley: "He will run. Yes, he’s dirty. I’ve noticed it. He uses his head."
Bradley (28-0) has developed a reputation for head butting his opponents. A year ago, in a highly anticipated fight with Devon Alexander, Bradley's head butts marred the fight and drew a lot of criticism. He will prove to be a tough opponent for Pacquiao who hasn't finished off anyone since he defeated Miguel Cotto in November 2009.
If Bradley does run, it will be reminiscent of Pacquiao's fight with Shane Mosley almost one year ago. Shane ran for the last 9 rounds and avoided the knockout once he realized how much trouble that he was in during the early rounds of the fight.
However, last November, Juan Manuel Marquez showed the blueprint on how to fight Pacquiao as he took Manny to the distance and should have won the fight but was cheated out of it by the judges. All 3 fights between JMM and Manny have ended in controversial decisions.
