Manning's wife is expecting the couple's second child. On March 20, Us Weekly confirmed that Eli Manning's wife, Abby, is pregnant. The New York Giants quarterback is very excited to be welcoming a son... or another daughter... in June. The couple has one daughter together, Ava, who turned two today.
"She's due in June. We're all very excited," said Manning, spilling the beans at an event on Wednesday. Eli did not say whether the new baby would be a boy or a girl -- or if he knew the baby's sex. One can imagine that Eli would love to have a son, but the Mannings would be happy with a healthy baby either way.
Manning's wife expecting is somewhat big news, given the fact that she's already 6 months along and they kept it a secret. Fortunately Eli won't be "working" over the summer as much as it is the off season. This way he will get to spend a lot of time at home with the new baby and his new family of four.
It is unknown whether or not Eli and Abby want a big family but having two children was probably the plan. They likely wanted to have another baby close in age to Ava and the timing couldn't really be better in regard to Eli's schedule.
