I just got back from "Manifolds on Main" and all I have to say is 'Wow.' That was one of the best local shows I have been to in a long time. There was a nice variety of cars - everything from 20's race cars to new super cars. Everyone we had a chance to talk to was super nice. One guy even asked my fiance if she wanted to sit in his dragster. As soon as we pulled up, we found a place to park (for free!). All of the vendors were nice and had some cool stuff they were selling. If the weather was just a little cooler, it would have been a perfect day. Unfortunately, we got to the show a little later in the afternoon, so I wasn't able to stay as long as I wanted to, but we still had fun. I would say there were around 200 cars, maybe more, and just about all of them were worth looking at. The majority of the cars were from the 50's/60's, but some went back all the way to the 20's and as new as a year old. Next year, I plan on entering a car and not just looking...which I think just makes it even more fun, so I can't wait until next year. But keep your eyes peeled for next year's show. I haven't heard anything about the next one, but when I do, I will be sure everyone knows about it.
