Expressing sincere gratitude for things you desire in your life before they emerge is one of the easiest ways to manifest your true desires.
Have you ever noticed how much better you feel when you say thank you? You’re more content. Negative thoughts disrupt the flow of energy and create resistance. It is impossible for fear and doubt to live where gratitude exists. When you feel consumed by negative thoughts, the best thing you can do is recall the things in your life you are grateful for. Being appreciative for what you have makes you realize just how blessed you are. This alone can help manifest increased blessings and abundance in your life. And being appreciative is contagious. The more grateful and consciously appreciative you are of what you have, the more you’ll receive in return . . . that’s the Law of Gratitude.
We have everything we need to thrive. With our minds we have the ability to manifest the life we dream of living. Studies show that expressing gratitude on a regular basis can make us healthier. Those expressing appreciation of life are generally less depressed, more willing to exercise, and live life to the fullest. When you’re feeling grateful for what you have rather than dwelling on what you don’t, you will deal much better with the little hiccups in life, including stress. When feeling gratitude, those negative feelings of anger, despair, hatred, fear, etc. disappear. Negative feelings disrupt the natural flow of our energy. When expressing gratitude those negative feelings are voided. Think about it: can you feel gratitude and fear at the same time? Or gratitude and anger? No. The positive dispels the negative.
Express gratitude for being. No matter what life has brought you–give thanks. Whether rich or poor, whether you have family or are alone, whether healthy or ill, whether everything is perfect or you are in the midst of trials and tribulations–show gratitude. Be grateful for your body, whether it is functioning in perfect harmony or not.
A grateful mind is a great mind which eventually attracts to itself great things. —Plato
Develop habits which routinely encourage and remind you to reflect and express gratitude. Consider placing a gratitude trinket in your pocket and every time you touch it, go within. Or change the wallpaper on your cell phone to something that will remind you to take a moment and express thanks. Or every time you look at yourself in the mirror, look deeply into your eyes and be grateful for being.
For one day plan on tuning in to and recording every joy, every blessing or every win that comes your way. No matter how big or small, record the triumph in your nearby journal. First you will notice the true magnificence of your life. Then you will realize there isn’t enough time to record all your blessings. When this happens you realize you are experiencing the flow of gratitude.
If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough. —Meister Eckhart
Be a rebel—express thankfulness for those things in your life you desire to manifest. The Universe will respond accordingly. I am grateful for that red Mercedes and on the road to happiness, success and prosperity and all traffic goes my way. Beep beep.
Happy Thanksgiving
