This girl is so cute. She is going to be the best pet in the world and a jaw dropper on city sidewalk jaunts.
Rosa is “super friendly, loves belly rubs and knows sit and stay. She gives kisses and only weighs 53 pounds.”
A volunteer writes, “Rosa lies so quietly in her kennel, face forward and little tongue sticking out of her mouth. I kept noticing her kennel card on which someone wrote "awesome dog".
“When I asked about her I was told that she is a favorite... of one of the shelter vet techs so, of course, I had to meet her. After five minutes with Rosa I knew why someone wrote 'awesome dog'.”
“She is compact, low key, gentle and a tail wagging machine. So friendly to people and other dogs. And when I started loving her up, rolls right over for a belly rub! She is good on the leash, appears to be housetrained and was so amazing to spend time with; just an easy, sweet and loving girl.”
“This is a little girl who will delight in simply being with her human friend, sharing quiet moments together, getting a belly rub or two or three or four…Rosa is a must meet in Manhattan; don't let her wait long for her forever home.”
Please save Rosa from this high kill shelter that puts dogs and animals down every day of the year, even Christmas day!
Rosa has two Facebook pages:
Volunteers and networkers are trying to find an option for Rosa. There are instructions on both Facebook pages to adopt or contact a local rescue group to pull her.
