Another new world-class restaurant and entertainment venue is headed to Orlando’s I-Drive scene. Mango's Tropical Cafe is set to open in the late summer/early fall. The upbeat Latin American themed restaurant will accommodate 2,500 and will offer Vegas-style shows and Michael Jackson tributes.
Just one mile from the Orange County Convention Center, the new restaurant/nightclub is being built on a 2.9-acre site at 8102 International Drive, across from the Wyndham Orlando Resort.
Like the popular South Beach/Miami Mango’s, Orlando’s location will feature gourmet dining, live bands and extravagant stage productions.
Joshua Wallack, the company’s chief operating officer, will relocate from Miami Beach to Orlando to manage the new venue.
Wallack stated, “Mango's Orlando will become the largest must-see nightlife-entertainment destination in Central Florida, with amazing shows, atmosphere and late-night dining. An epic venue such as this will elevate Orlando’s rankings among popular convention destinations and influence major convention bookers to actually choose Orlando over other competing markets.”
The non-stop entertainment will begin at noon daily and continue until the wee hours of the morning, with dinner shows nightly at 8:00 p.m.
