Mandy Moore exits: Actress pulls out of new ABC show, 'Pulling'

Mandy Moore exits a new ABC comedy is one celebrity news story making headlines today, as Deadline reported this Friday, March 8, that Moore will be leaving the pilot of the new ABC series, “Pulling.”

Under the headline, “Mandy Moore exits ABC Pilot “Pulling”, sources report that the talented actress has pulled out of one of the lead roles in the upcoming TV show. She made a recent statement saying that due to the changing nature of the character, she felt that the casting role "wasn't right" for her.

“Pulling” was a comedy show that centers around a trio of dysfunctional women who live their lives together their own way, despite what society says. Mandy Moore was the first actress cast in one of the lead roles as Louise.

However, as ABC’s “Pulling” progressed in its planning stages, the producers felt that a Mandy Moore exit was needed, as her casting character had changed initial dynamics and direction.

“Mandy is a pro, and has been very patient and accommodating with us,” said Pulling producers. “As we moved closer to production, it was clear we needed to go in a different direction for the character, and Mandy agreed to do what was best for the show. She’s an immensely gifted actress and we hope to have the pleasure of working with her again.”
