Manchester United chasing Roma starlet for summer transfer

Manchester United continue to search for the next youngsters to breed as their long term midfield replacements for veteran's Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. According to TalkSport on Mar. 1, 2013, it appears that they have found at least one they deem a worthy target for their summer transfer efforts.

AS Roma starlet Erik Lamela has been sensational for the Wolves this summer and is expected to receive multiple major offers from around the continent to try and entice him to take his leave from the Eternal City.

The 20-year-old Argentine's agent Pablo Sabbag has attempted to quell speculation with is comments, but there appears to be no rest to the rumors that the youngster will be a massive target over the summer:

No, there is no truth in that at all. For the moment, there is no offer from Manchester United.

Obviously I have a relationship with them, but we have never discussed this particular topic. It's the same with Roma, a club I have a continuous relationship with.

It's just too soon to be talking about the transfer market.

Manchester United will be looking to do some major midfield retooling this summer with both Giggs and Scholes expected to retire and Darren Fletcher's long term battle for health has many anticipating much movement in the Red Devils central area over the coming transfer period.
