The Manchester Farmers Market is off to full swing and it's time for strawberries and a growing selection of fresh produce. The Market started in 2000 and moved to it's current location at Adams Park Rt. 7A Manchester Center in 2012. You can find it there every Thursday from May 29th - October 9th from 3:00 - 6:00pm. The Manchester Farmers Market offers products from local farmers and craft artisans. You'll find every color produce imaginable and other interesting products. With the high interest in gluten-free and vegan foods the market does an excellent job of offering those specialties. The members are happy to answer questions and discuss how they grow their crops and the ingredients in their products. The Manchester Farmers Market patrons are able to use Farm to family coupons, EBT and Debit payments. Check out their Facebook page.
Along with the produce and fruits expect to see specialty products such as cheeses, maple syrup & candy, breads & bakery items, grass fed beef, chocolates, candies, soaps, herbal teas, candles and all kinds of sauces imaginable!
This week the practitioners from neighboring Equinox Healing Therapies will be holding an Open House with light refreshments sourced from the Farmers Market. That event will take place at 5053 Main Street from 4:30 - 6:00pm. Come and meet the practitioners who offer a variety of alternative services.
