Manchester Police are hoping the public will provide information regarding the location and identity of a male subject who allegedly robbed the TD Bank, located at 293 South Main Street, at about 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. See the slideshow of surveillance video stills of the suspect.
According to a press release by the Manchester Police Department, officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the bank and met with a teller who told them that a man had entered the bank and demanded cash. He did not display a weapon.
The teller stated further that the man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and is believed to have left the area on a BMX style bike or a mountain bike. The teller described the suspect as a white male in his early to mid-twenties with an average height, lean build and short brown hair. He reportedly was last seen wearing a blue jacket with the hood up. The jacket had a small white logo on the front left breast area that possibly included the word “party”. The suspect also wore a white bandana that partially covered his face, dark gloves, trim jeans and a lighter colored pair of running shoes.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to please call the Manchester Police Department at 668-8711. Anonymous tips for cash rewards can be made through the Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040 or online at manchestercrimeline.org.
