Manchester Police are looking for little girl who reported crime the fled area

Manchester Police are investigating who a little girl told someone her family was the victim of a crime, but then ran off once she discovered the police were being called.

According to a report by WMUR, a woman was traveling on Elm Street near Sagamore Street had noticed a little girl approximately 10 years old riding her bike in her pajamas and a winter coat. When the concerned woman approached the little girl she stated that her family had been the victim of a crime and she was looking for another family member. At that time the concerned woman began to call the Manchester Police and according to police, when the girl saw that the woman was calling the police, she abandoned her little pink bicycle and ran from the area.

The little girl was last seen heading north on Bay Street from Salmon Street and was described as approximately 10 years old with brown hair wearing purple pajamas and a pink coat with a blue backpack.

The Manchester Police Department is still working on identifying the little girl. They are encouraging anyone with information about the little girl or her family to call the Manchester Police at 603-668-8711 or Crimeline at 603-624-4040.
