Police said, Jessica Jones, 24, of Exeter, NH was arrested and charged with OUIL and Disorderly Conduct. Jones’ brother, Jonathan Jones, 28, of Manchester, was also arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Samantha O’Donnell, 20, of Methuen, MA. was arrested and charged with Possession of alcohol by a minor, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
Recounting the incident, police stated that at approximately 1:18 a.m. Officer C. Ellston observed a motor vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on Pine Street from Pearl Street without having its headlights and taillights illuminated.
Officer Ellston finally caught up to the vehicle at Bridge Street in the area of Elm Street and immediately noted the driver appeared to be intoxicated. The driver was identified as Jessica Jones, who failed to adhere to repeated warnings from the officers. In addition, Jones refused to cooperate with arrest procedures.
Jonathan Jones refused to cooperate with the investigation and refused to step out of the vehicle when the officers asked him to do so. Jonathan Jones and O’Donnell became belligerent and started making loud and boisterous remarks in spite of numerous warnings from the officers. Jones was arrested and refused to cooperate during the handcuffing process.
O’Donnell continued to ignore the officers’ repeated warnings and refused to cooperate with arrest procedures.
The three continued their uncooperative and disruptive behaviors after they were transported to police headquarters.
