The Manchester Animal Shelter is hosting the 4th Annual Mutt Strut to benefit its shelter animals. The Mutt Strut is scheduled for June 8, 2014 and will be located at Livingston Park in Manchester, N.H. The fair opens at 10 a.m. and the dog walk begins at 11 a.m.
Register to walk for $15 online or $20 at the park. Children enter for free. The first 100 registered will receive doggie goodie bags.
Gather up your dog and walk around the scenic Dorrs Pond while raising money for the shelter. Take in the fair with a variety of demonstrations and vendors. Watch the dog agility course and enter some contests.
The Manchester Animal Shelter recently suffered a setback when its ceiling collapsed due to a burst pipe. The shelter takes in thousands of homeless, abandoned and abused animals around Manchester, and provides medical care and shelter.
