Man with Cutthroat tattoo accused of slashing teen's throat

In a morbid irony, a man with the word "Cutthroat" on his neck has been charged with the slashing of a Connecticut teen's throat. Twenty-year old Shakeem Carter has been charged with the February 13 murder of Kevin Allen. Carter allegedly followed Allen home on a bus and then slashed the teen's throat, stabbing him over twenty times before then setting his body on fire at his father's apartment.

As horrific as Carter's crime is, more shocking is the motivation. He stole $350 in cash that Allen had on him. The money had been a present from the teen's father. Carter currently awaits trial for murder.
