Popular Bluffs are warning residents that Stephan Wayne Anderson, 30, is wanted for questioning in multiple cases of sexual assault and kidnapping. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anderson is currently out on bond for September charges of kidnapping, forcible rape and sodomy, and robbery.
On Saturday, an unidentified adult female, 28, reported to police that she was forced at gunpoint to drive to Popular Bluff on the previous Thursday by Anderson. The woman was victimized; held at gunpoint and sodomized in her residence in the 100 block of Cole Avenue in Popular Bluff. A second victim; and unidentified female, 14, also of Popular Bluff claimed she was sexually assaulted by the male suspect matching Anderson's description.
Anyone with information regarding Stephan Anderson's whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement.
